hi!

Hi! I know I'm way behind on my blogging. Like months and months behind! I will catch up when I catch my breath (so don't hold yours :) ).

1st--become my fan on facebook! click on the link to the left and "like" me.

2nd--I am filling up quickly for fall photo sessions, so if anyone is interested, you need to contact me asap. I am down to a very few dates that are possible (unless you're up for a weekday, which would be great).
maybe if you become a FB fan AND book, I'll throw in something special...

Thanks!

Emery's 1st Tooth

A lot has been happening lately, and I am very behind on blogging (as usual). I need to post pics from Kristie & Scott's Boerne wedding in April, Sydney's 3 month session, Hallie's bridal, Hallie & Travis's Beaumont wedding, the Broermans' family session, Erin & Brad's engagement, the lake over Memorial Day weekend, etc, etc. And a lot of stuff coming up soon--Lauren's bridal session in Austin, the Gawliks in Poth, Shannon & Jeremy's wedding in Boerne, etc, etc, etc. And of course, 2 kids, 1 husband, a weekday job, and trying to sell a house. Maybe it's not that much going on after all...

Emery will be 4 months old on Wednesday. She got her 1st tooth last week and her 2nd tooth today. And overnight, she's become a mover and a shaker. She rolls over constantly and will only sleep on her belly. She's trying to crawl (or at least it looks like it) but she can't pick her belly up. She loves to have something (cloth) in her mouth. She's just getting to where she can grab something and figure out how to get it in her mouth. Beware all dolls and toys!

And her big brother Atlee just watches her and loves on her every chance he gets--but in small doses. He only likes to hold her for a few seconds. The rest of the time, he observes or kisses. He constantly tells everyone at daycare about "his baby." Such a good boy. And growing up so fast! He is a chatterbox, and he's very serious. His favorite topics are cows and horses. So don't let him corner you, or you'll hear all about how cowboys ride horses to rope their cows, etc. Maybe someday, he'll actually get to experience it first hand if we ever get out of town. Maybe I can remember some of my old tricks to teach him...
here is the 1st tooth (took the pics a few days ago before the 2nd tooth showed up)
